I just returned from an interview with our local Parks & Rec district.
They were advertising for someone to teach art classes at the Nature
Park Interp. Center. I took in samples of some of the "nature" type art
I would like to teach to adults and children (building bird and bat
houses, leaf prints, fish prints, etc).
I included some of my carved stamps, my letterbox journal, and a sample
box with letterboxing onformation. The director and I got talking about
letterboxing and how it relates to being outdoors and enjoying nature
along with the art aspect. She was very enthusiastic and so.......
starting this fall, I am teaching letterboxing!! woohoo!!!!!!

Way to go Thom! When you've developed the curriculum, pass it on. Maybe we can use it for a beginner's page...;)

I'm a teacher of the talented and gifted. I recently completed a
letterboxing unit with my junior high students. We hid three letterboxes in
Lebanon, IL vacinity. The students very much enjoyed the unit. As soon as
my homepage is put on the school server I'll be forwarded the link to share.
I'm being trained on the server today so keep a look out.
